Since we didn’t have a budget for wardrobe we did what any self respecting independent movie producer does…we went to the thrift store. First we went thru all of the casts regular clothes and then we gathered the girls and took a trip to the thrift store and bought anything we were lacking for a few bucks. Davids wardrobe came to us suddenly when we found a bunch of velour shirts at the thrift store and thought it would be funny to always have him in velour shirts. Since he thought he was so cool. Peter Boggia was a trouper for wearing those shirts in the humid New Orleans heat! Those shirts actually saved us a couple of times when we were getting eaten alive by mosquitoes. In the “behind the scenes” footage we can, at times, be seen wearing Davids wardrobe.
I think one of the funniest things about the wardrobe was keeping Stella in the correct outfit. There were a couple of incidents where we had to change the sequence of things because she brought the wrong wardrobe. Stella… God, I love her! She kept us on our toes. See the Behind the Scenes area for little stories about Stella and all of the rest of us. Some of it is pretty damn funny!
